Released January 6, 2011, A Faith of Their Own: Stability and Change in the Religiosity of America’s Adolescents by Lisa D. Pearce and Melinda Lundquist Denton, uses data from the National Study of Youth and Religion (NSYR) to unpack the religious lives of adolescents and how they evolve over time.  The book details five types of religiosity most common in the population of adolescents in the United States illuminating them with quotes from NSYR interviews.  A Faith of Their Own offers a rich understanding of how religion plays into young people’s lives during adolescence.
